About Us

Western Spray Foam, LLC is family owned and operated. We provide spray foam insulation services to all of Oregon and Washington. We are a licensed contractor for Demilec USA, LLC. We specialize in custom spray foam insulation applications for residential, commercial, and agriculture projects.

The company was founded in 2009. Western Spray Foam was created out of a desire to build a successful company that would offer opportunity and support to our family for years to come. Collectively our family has over 50 years of experience in the building and energy trades.

Craig Schmidt
Owner/Estimation

Craig has over 30 years of experience and knowledge of home performance industries including spray foam insulation, hearth, biomass fuel, and mold remediation. He spent most of his professional career as a sales representative, product designer, and service technician in the Hearth and Home industry. For the past decade, in addition to his years in the Hearth and Home industry, he was also co-owner and operator of two companies, Energy Parts Plus, LLC and US Environmental Services, LLC/Foam Home, a spray foam insulation and mold remediation service company. Craig understands the importance of conserving energy and is committed to the concept of home performance building.

Rian Schmidt
Operations Manager

Rian has spent the past 15 years working in the building and remodeling trade.  His experiences include framing, fireplace installation, residential mold remediation, spray foam installation, and window installation. Rian has several years of experience in the spray foam insulation industry where has undergone extensive training in spray foam installation applications. He is our jack of all trades, if there is something needing to be built, installed, or fixed, he’s the guy!

Cori Schmidt
Sales, Office & Marketing Manager

Before starting this company with her family, the core of Cori’s experience was in the hearth and home industry as a sales representative, where she spent 15 years. Cori is currently an active participant in The Home Builder’s Association of Portland and The HBA’s Building Green Council. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Digital Technology/Sociology from WSU-Vancouver and an MBA in Sustainable Business with a concentration in Renewable Energy from Marylhurst University. Cori’s combined professional and educational experiences have developed her passion to reduce energy consumption and influence sustainable practices within our community.
